Diversity Advisory Council

The mission of the Diversity Advisory Council (DAC) is to support the Chicago Federal Executive Board and its member agencies in their efforts to ensure and enhance the consideration, value, and visibility of diversity at all levels in federal employment, programs, and service delivery.

Membership
The Chicago DAC is comprised of federal employees nominated by Chicago FEB agency heads to represent their agencies. DAC members are individuals with an interest in and commitment to diversity who are motivated and enabled to actively support the DAC’s mission, including work on tasks and projects.

Structure
The Committee Chair is appointed among DAC members and has the responsibility of leading the council and other officers as the DAC determines. The DAC receives support from the Chicago FEB and its staff functions at the pleasure of the Chicago FEB’s Executive Committee, which can request and recommend programs and implement any changes to the DAC that it feels would better serve the needs of the Chicago Federal Community.
