Now in its third year, the Chicago Federal Leadership Forum brings speakers on a broad range of leadership issues together with Federal leaders in the region. The cost for eligible federal employees to attend these events is $75 per person per seminar or $225 to attend ALL 4 scheduled sessions!

The Look of Leaders: What Images do to Make Leadership   October 27, 2011

David MorganDavid Morgan is Professor of Religion at Duke University, where he also holds an appointment in the Department of Art, Art History, and Visual Studies. He has authored several books on the history of religious art and imagery and edited several more on media and religion, material culture, and art. He will discuss the visual aspects of leadership, exploring the history of the look of leaders, their portrayal in art and popular visual materials, and the role that images play in enacting leadership in America.
