For 54 years, the Chicago Federal Executive Board has recognized and honored the brightest stars of our federal workforce. Each year, hundreds of employees in all fields of government are nominated by their supervisors to receive the Federal Employee of the Year award. Individuals nominated for the award exemplify the very best in dedicated public service. As they serve their country with honor, they represent the very heart and cornerstone of this nation's government. On Thursday, June 30th, we honored over 500 nominees with over 1000 in attedance! A very special thank you to the Department of Health and Human Services who hosted FEOY 2011: Leaders on the Move: Developing Vitality, Innovation and Effectiveness in Federal Service.
